Happenings in the Mission

14 Jan

We had the privilege of seeing all of our missionaries again during the month of November.  It was Zone Conference time.  The following pictures were taken in Takamatsu with the Tokushima and Matsuyama Zones.  Elder and Sister Donahoe and Elder and Sister Gibson (the Area doctors) joined us for our conference week.

These sisters in Takamatsu always prepare such a delicious lunch for all of us.  You can see the beautiful work that goes into their preparations.  We feel so very spoiled!

We appreciate these dear members in Takamatsu that take care of us so well.

The next day took us to Okayama to be with the Yonago, Okayama and Akashi Zones.

These sweet sisters in Okayama made such a delicious lunch.  They are always so very giving of their time for the missionaries.  We are so grateful for their selfless service.

The missionaries always sing to thank those who have prepared the lunch.

Wednesday we stayed in Kobe for Conference with the Fukuchiyama and Sakai Zones.

The following picture is of the doctors who help us so very much.  We had a wonderful time traveling with them and their wives.  We appreciate all that they do for us!

We were in Kobe on Thursday for Kobe and Kyoto Zone Conferences.

The Stake Relief Society sisters prepared a delicious lunch for all of our missionaries.  We were so grateful for them.

We have had a wonderful week so far.  We then headed to Osaka to wrap up our week of Zone conferences with Ibaraki, Osaka and Osaka North Zones.

WE LOVE OUR MISSIONARIES!!!

Thank you so much for posting pictures of all the missionaries! We are so grateful that our son, Elder Joseph Meyers is serving in the Japan Kobe Mission. Your blog allows us a glimpse into his experiences there. You are ALL in our prayers daily!

Thank you so much for posting these Sister Zinke! We love to see pictures of our son and of his companion, and of the mission and what is happening there. We feel excited and very good about the prospects for the missionary work there this year. You are always in our prayers.
