The End of a Decade

31 Jul

We have sister missionaries serving in Kyoto.  A dear member owns a home a block from the church and has rented it to us for them to live for the past ten years.  She has been so loving and kind to the sisters and I know that every one of them has loved living there.

This member’s sister needs to live there so we must leave.  On move day, she would not even allow us to do any cleaning.  She said that she would take care of it.  As we walked away, she stood at the front door just waving good-bye, as if she didn’t want it to come to an end.  I had tears in my eyes as I walked away.  What a wonderful woman to whom we are so grateful!
