A Mission Tour

12 Dec

Last week we were privileged to have a member of the First Quorum of Seventy visit us.  Elder Kazuhiko Yamashita and his wife came to spend some time with us and the missionaries in our mission.   Also, our Area Authority Seventy, Elder Nakatsuka, and his wife were able to visit with us too.  Elder and Sister Yamashita are in the center of this picture.

Our first visit was in Okayama with the Okayama, Yonago, Matsuyama and Akashi Zones.

Our next conference was in Ibaraki with the Osaka North, Osaka, Sakai, Kyoto, Kobe and Fukuchiyama Zones.

Three evenings we had dinner with the Yamashita’s, the stake presidencies, and their wives.  We then had member meetings in each of those three areas.  Elder Yamashita expressed his love for the members and encouraged them to be more involved in missionary work.

We loved having the Yamashita’s in our home and getting to know them.  They truly are wonderful people and we are so very grateful for their service.
